Salary: $100 per qualified strategy (additional base pay of $300 per month)
About Us:
Our company sells an expert advisor specifically designed for passing prop firm challenges. We've helped over 500 of our members get funded using our EA. We are currently seeking a Backtesting and Optimization Expert to join our team and contribute to our continuous growth.
Responsibilities:
- Backtest and optimize on the MT5 trading platform and our proprietary prop firm backtesting tool.
- Utilize our highly advanced expert advisor ONLY for optimization, ensuring adherence to our specific criteria and desired results. (Although you may suggest any helpful improvements you'd like us to add to our EA).
- Independently conduct comprehensive strategy backtesting and optimization to identify optimal parameter settings. (We have hundred of high performing base strategies you can use as a base to help you get started).
- Follow provided guidelines and training materials to focus on specific inputs for optimization (these have proven to be most effective to produced the desired results in the past).
- Deliver high-quality, thoroughly tested and optimized trading strategies that meet our predefined criteria.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in backtesting and optimizing expert advisors on the MT5 trading platform.
- Strong understanding of trading concepts, technical analysis, and risk management.
- Proficiency in interpreting and manipulating trading-related data.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a "can do" attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the trading team.
- Ability to follow provided guidelines while also demonstrating creativity and critical thinking.
- Previous experience in a similar role in the trading industry is a plus.
Compensation:
- $100 per qualified trading strategy that meets our criteria.
- Base pay of $300 per month, contingent on producing at least one qualified strategy per month.
- Opportunities to earn more based on the number of successful strategies produced.
- Opportunities to earn bonuses of $500, $400 and $300 respectively for the top 3 strategies that perform the best relative to the other candidates.
Note:
- Candidates who qualify for the base pay (meaning they produce less than 3 qualified trading strategies that meet our criteria in a month) for more than one consecutive month, will be subject to termination.
