OHLC Indictaor

1. Objective

Able to send alert (see point 4&5) BEFORE price reaches OHLC levels.

2. Features

User is Able to select any of the 3 time frame or all 3 time frame (see point 3) to display OHLC levels.

User is Able to select current candle or previous candle to display OHLC levels.

Current Candle refers to Current Month/Current Week/Current Day (in which the candle is not fully formed)

Previous Candle refers to Last Month/ Last Week/Yester-Day (in which the candle has taken shape)

4. Alert features

A. Alert sent out in the form of pop-up, sounds & email

B. BEFORE price reaches OHLC levels, alert is sent out once every 2 min for 30 times during current day

C. Preferably User can select the number of times alert to be sent out (for point 4B)

5. Alert Criteria

A. For instrument that has 1 decimal place (example S&P & other indices), Alert will be triggered +/-30 points or pips before reaching any of the OHLC levels.

Example

“High” of OHLC levels = 26300.5

When price reaches 26330.5 or 26270.5 = Alert triggered (Example of Alert message ‘near Previous Month High’)

B. For instrument that has 2 decimal place (example eurjpy), Alert will be triggered +/-20 points or pips before reaching any of the OHLC levels.

Example

“Low” of OHLC levels = 126.35

When price reaches 126.15 or 126.55 = Alert triggered (Example of Alert message ‘near Previous Week Low’)

C. For instrument that has 3 decimal place (example WTI), Alert will be triggered +/-20 points or pips before reaching any of the OHLC levels.

Example

“Low” of OHLC levels = 50.355

When price reaches 50.155 or 50.555 = Alert triggered (Example of Alert message ‘near Previous Day Low’)

D. For instrument that has 4 decimal place (example euraud), Alert will be triggered +/-20 points or pips before reaching any of the OHLC levels.

Example

“Close” of OHLC levels = 1.6225

When price reaches 1.6205 or 1.6245 = Alert triggered (Example of Alert message ‘near current Month Close’)

E. For instrument that has 5 decimal place (example XCUUSD), Alert will be triggered +/-20 points or pips before reaching any of the OHLC levels.

Example

“Close” of OHLC levels = 3.62255

When price reaches 3.62055 or 3.62455 = Alert triggered (Example of Alert message ‘near current Week Close’)

6. Display of OHLC Levels based on Time Frame Selected

Example 1

User select current month (though not fully fully) candle to display OHLC levels.

BEFORE price reaches any of the current month OHLC levels, alert (see point 4&5) will trigger.

Example 2

User select previous week candle to display OHLC levels.

BEFORE price reaches any of the previous week OHLC levels, alert (see point 4&5) will trigger.

Example 3

User select previous month and previous week and previous day candle to display OHLC levels.

BEFORE price reaches any of the previous month or previous week or previous day OHLC levels, alert (see point 4&5) will trigger.

Example 4

User select current month and previous week candle to display OHLC levels.

BEFORE price reaches any of the current month or previous week candle OHLC levels, alert (see point 4&5) will trigger.
