Modify an existing trend forecasting bot for MQL4

Tarea técnica

I need to modify an existing (but no longer working) bot written for MQL4.

The bot originally sent a pop-up notification when all those four conditions were met:


  1. Divergence between level 68 and 75 or between level 32 and 25 on the RSI diagram.
  2. After a new high or a new low,when the price comes back to the sentiment line and the line goes again up or down registering again a new high or a new low.
  3. Any of the traded currencies must not have had any news (scraped by the bot) for at least 45 minutes.
  4. The price must be in the Bullinger band from 2.0 to 2.5 supersafe range. If 2.5 value is reached then a different audio alarm is played.

Now this bot doesn't work anymore. So, in addition to fix it the developer must add a new feature:

  • Trend related. I need to record the trend for the last hour recorded, current day and the current week of data next to the alarm window.
The original source code for the old (and now not working bot) is available to the developer.
