portable mode problem

hello, I have installed mt4 on my google drive in portable mode, so I can use it on my desktop and laptop{, not at the same time}. now the problem with my mt4 is... 1} I open mt4 in desktop, enter my login details and it works fine. after this I close my mt4, give some time to update all files to

CPU cores for testing mt4

Dose more cores helps to do testing fast? I have i7 4790k which has 4cores at 4.0 ghz with 16gb ram. It shows 700hrs for testing for 10yrs data on one pair. Will a CPU with more cores help reduce the timeing for this test? Or this is the max speed I will get with even 8 or 10 cores CPU
