Hello,
I'd like to create a simple indicator for a start. This will take 15 minutes for the right person.
I want to have something quick so that we can test and improve.
This is more an apetizer to find the right person for other works going forward, I have more complex stuff in the pipeline once this is done ;-)
The goal is to plot "elasticity" which shows the relationship between variation of price and variation of volume over different time periods.
Indicator definition is as follows :
- Separate window
- 2 lines to plot : Slow (blue) and Fast (red)
- 2 parameters : SlowPeriod and FastPeriod
- The definition of the lines is :
y(t)= (C[t]-C[t-p))/C[t-p]) / ( (V[t]-V[t-p])/V[t] )
Where :
- V [t] : is the value of volume for tick t. This definition of volume could come from the A/D indicator or an another definition. I welcome any suggestion.
- C[t] is the closing price for tick t
- t-p means the tick a given period before. So if SlowPeriod is egal to 5, we will take the data 5 ticks before
