Modular Session Breakout & Multi-MA EA with Anti-Whipsaw Filters

Specification

Project Title: Modular Session Breakout & Multi-MA EA with Anti-Whipsaw Filters

Requirements: Please build an EA where every feature can be individually turned ON/OFF via an independent toggle switch and configured via adjustable parameters. The EA should function as an efficient "Entry Engine" that works in tandem with external risk managers (e.g., KT Equity Protector).

1. Global Settings

  • Master Switch: Global ON/OFF toggle to control the entire EA.

  • Max Trades per Day: Adjustable number (e.g., 1, 2, or 3) to limit daily activity.

  • Session Cleanup: Toggle to auto-cancel unexecuted pending orders at the end of the session.

2. Strategy Modules (Each with its own ON/OFF Toggle)

  • Module A: Session Breakout:

    • Parameters: Start Time, End Time, Buffer points.

    • Logic: Record High/Low and place pending Stop orders.

    • OCO Logic (Mandatory): Once one side (Buy/Sell) is triggered, the other side must be automatically deleted.

  • Module B: 60K Multi-MA Trend:

    • Parameters: Timeframe (60 min), MA Periods (20, 60, 240), MA Method.

    • Logic:

      • Long Entry: Buy when price closes above 60MA. Hold if above 20MA/60MA. Exit if price breaks below 20MA.

      • Short Entry: Sell when price closes below 60MA. Hold/Short if below 60MA/20MA.

3. Anti-Whipsaw (Defensive) Filters (Each with its own ON/OFF Toggle)

  • Filter 1 (MA Separation): Set minimum point distance between MAs. Do not trade if MAs are too close (prevents sideways/choppy zones).

  • Filter 2 (Breakout Threshold): Minimum distance/buffer requirement to confirm a valid breakout (filters out minor fakeouts).

  • Filter 3 (Loss Cooldown): If X number of stop-losses occur in a short period/same zone, automatically stop trading for the remainder of the day.

4. Money Management

  • Risk-Based Lot Size: Enable/Disable toggle. Set risk percentage per trade (e.g., 3% of account equity). EA must automatically calculate lot size based on equity and SL distance.

5. Compatibility & Notes

  • External Risk Manager: Must be fully compatible with KT Equity Protector. Focus solely on order entry and management; do not conflict with external exit logic.

  • Modularity: Ensure all modules work correctly even when combined (e.g., running Breakout + MA Separation simultaneously).

Requirements Specification Here is an example of Requirements Specification for the development of the MACD Sample Expert Advisor, which is available in the MetaTrader 5 standard package. 1. The idea of the trading system is as follows : market entries are performed when MACD's main and signal lines intersect in the current trend direction . 2. Trend is determined based on the Exponential Moving Average with
REWARD! 35 - 200 USD
I will pay you a REWARD, if you find / create an EA that fits ALL the below criteria! Platform : MT4 ONLY! NOT MT5, I repeat: NOT MT5!! Timeframe : doesn’t matter Pair : doesn’t matter Strategy : doesn’t matter Drawdown : no more than 25% Return : minimum 5%, every month Lot sizing : dynamic lots I will backtest the EA with 99.9% tick data accuracy for a period of 20+ years . If the EA can produce minimum 5% returns
Recently I have backtested more than 100 EAs and I have come to a conclusion that in the long-term all of them produce catastrophic results. I used 99.9% data quality and whenever possible decades of data. In the short-term almost all of them can have nice gains. But there is hardly any EA that could survive even just 3-5 years, let alone decades ! This got me thinking: if almost all EAs are unfit for long-term
