Issues with downloaded EA

I recently downloaded a couple EAs from the codebase. For some reason when I back-test them, I am unable to get a result. When I hit start, the bar loads until the end, but under the results tab all the metrics are 0 and my starting equity remains the same.

I can backtest successfully any program I generate under the metaeditor. And there are no issues shown when I compile the downloaded EAs. 

Is it because I am using the demo account?
