This is very important to check risk reward ratio and percentage amount of risked capital before open every single trade.

It depends on our trading style. If we are setting SL & TP then it is good to keep risk reward ratio at least 1:2 (risk:reward) and don't risk more than 2% of capital.

IF:

Most retail traders use a stop loss and;

Most retail traders use a set Risk/Reward ratio and;

Most retail traders only risk x% of capital per trade
