My phone does not support MetaQuotes ID - Please Help!

I recently downloaded the Andriod mobile metatrader4 app ( build 946) onto my Lenovo P780 phone.
While the charts are working fine, I cannot set up push notification.
I have no messages in the app's inbox as the MetaQuotes ID "is not registered". I also get a message saying " Unfortunately, your phone does not support this function". Is there a way to get around this problem?
