I made a request to my VPS service to change from UK to US servers, and they are able to migrate the VPS with changing the server IP only.
Could anyone tell me if I lose my activation with this change? They will only change the server IP.

I have a friend said to me that if the IP address of his VPS changed, he will lose his 5 activations in that one VPS. What is know is the activation is not linked to the IP address but he told me that it will lose. I dont't maybe in some case it will happen (the activation will lose). But I want to make sure from you guys, any else lost your activation after the VPS's IP changed?
Please I need the answer as soon as possible.
