I have also faced execution delays during high volatility on MT5 mobile. When Gold breaks critical structural levels (like the recent 52-week low drop), price moves too fast causing requotes on bulk actions. This is exactly why I stick to strict, manual intraday execution with no overnight holding to avoid unexpected gaps or platform freezes. Feel free to check my profile wall if you want to track clean, manual intraday setups.

I would like to ask whether anyone using MT5 on iPhone has experienced a similar issue.
I was trading XAUUSD with HFM on 30 October 2026. I usually hold multiple positions and use the Bulk Close function to close all open positions simultaneously.
That afternoon, I encountered the first problem. I pressed Bulk Close, and the button appeared to respond, but my positions remained open. After repeatedly trying for around 1–2 minutes, I eventually managed to close them.
Later that evening, at around 9:25 PM Malaysia time, the same issue happened again. I pressed Bulk Close multiple times, but none of my 58 open positions closed.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling MT5, then logging in again, but the problem persisted.
I was using an iPhone Air and iPhone Duo, both running the latest iOS. I experienced the issue on both devices.
During the incident, I also tried contacting HFM’s Malaysia hotline and international Trading Desk for urgent assistance, but I could not get through to either number. Eventually, all 58 positions were automatically liquidated through Stop Out at around 9:34 PM Malaysia time, resulting in a loss of approximately USD 4,511.
I understand that trading involves risk, but my concern is that I was actively trying to close my positions and the Bulk Close function did not execute as expected.
I would like to understand:
Has anyone experienced something similar, particularly with HFM or other brokers?
I would appreciate feedback from MT5 developers, experienced traders or anyone who has encountered this issue. I am trying to establish whether this could be an MT5 iOS application issue, a broker-side execution issue, or a combination of both.
Thank you.
