error 538 is invalid license.
It means: your product is already installed but the validation is lost because of the Windows was updated and so on.
So, delete this product from your Metatrader and install it once again (from same Metatrader).

besides the reasons that the moderator mentioned. 538 might happen after you copied the files to a new computer. you cant do that, you have to install it from the website.

Hello Everyone!
I have a problem, with MT5 expert advisors. I dowloaded a couple and it won't work. The program write for me, that error failure [538]. I cannot use my new expert advisors because it won't accept the ea.
Please if you can fix it, just write here, and I will be so thankful.
I thing I need a crack files to work properly.
