Hello. I am investigating timestamps returned by the MetaTrader 5 Python API. A sanitized public-market example from PETR4 on 7 October 2026, with terminal build 6246, returned:
symbol_info_tick: time=1791389471; time_msc=1791389471006; last=54.72; volume=100; flags=1080.
The literal Unix-epoch interpretation is 2026-10-07 16:11:11.006 UTC. An official B3 historical candidate shows civil time 16:11:11.006 UTC-3 (19:11:11.006 UTC), price 54.72 and quantity 100. This supports a possible timestamp representation/time-zone hypothesis for the roughly three-hour discrepancy, but does not prove event identity, a feed delay, or certified latency. Query completion time is not first-delivery time. No orders were submitted.
Could someone clarify the documented contract for `time` and `time_msc` in `symbol_info_tick` (epoch, units, UTC/local convention, precision, relationship, and safe conversion)? Does the UTC note for `copy_ticks_from` apply to snapshot fields? Could server civil time be encoded, and if so, is that supported or a configuration/integration defect?
Also, what does `flags=1080` mean for build 6246? Can Bid/Ask remain populated without their change flags, and is there a supported way to determine each side's age? Which event stage do snapshot timestamps represent, and can fields in one snapshot reflect different events?
Do `copy_ticks_from`, `copy_ticks_range`, and candle-open timestamps follow the same convention? How are caching/replay, resynchronization, corrections, duplicate timestamps, and historical/live differences handled? Is a native B3 event ID available, or is matching timestamp/price/quantity only an indicative reconciliation?
Please distinguish general terminal/API behavior from broker-specific feed or server configuration, and link the applicable documentation. I am not sharing account, server, or personal details publicly.
