Who is responsible for MT5 Trade Notifications: MetaQuotes or the broker?

Hello,
I am logged into a live MT5 account on iPhone using the Investor/Read-Only password.
“Trade Notifications” is enabled in the account settings, and all iOS notification permissions for MetaTrader 5 are enabled. However, I receive no notification when trades are opened or closed from another device.

The app states that these notifications may include orders and deals “depending on the broker’s settings.”

Could you please confirm:

1. Are these notifications supported for Investor/Read-Only logins?
2. Must the broker enable or configure this feature on its MetaTrader 5 server?
3. If no notifications are generated, should the broker investigate its server configuration, or is this controlled entirely by MetaQuotes?
