I would like to propose a simple yet high-impact User Experience (UX) improvement for the MetaTrader 5 PC terminal. This small addition to the right-click menu will drastically enhance workflow speed and eliminate human error for millions of manual traders.

  1. The Core Problem (Pain Point)
    Currently, setting exact Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) levels requires traders to either manually read and type digits into the order box or switch back and forth between tools.

  • High Risk of Typo Errors: When trading fast-moving, high-digit instruments (e.g., Gold/XAUUSD at 4473.59 or Indices), manually typing numbers often leads to input errors. A single mistyped decimal can cost a trader significantly.

  3. The context menu displays a single-click copy button: Copy 4473.59

  4. Clicking it immediately copies 4473.59 to the system clipboard, ready to be pasted (Ctrl + V) directly into SL, TP, or Pending Order input fields.
