If the lag is minimized, this could work very nicely on a trending pair. 

In terms of information theory, latency cannot be eliminated; buy/sell arrows only appear once the price has broken through the highs or lows of a price channel.

In general, such signals look excellent in hindsight (when redrawn), but are completely useless for real-time trading.
