“history check of XAUUSD failed” should be isolated before debugging the EA, because the tester is rejecting or failing to synchronize the symbol history first.

Please post the complete first error block from Strategy Tester > Journal plus the terminal build, broker/server, exact symbol name (including any suffix), test dates and tick model. Then try this small matrix:

1. Show the exact symbol in Market Watch and open its broker chart.

2. In Ctrl+U (Symbols), verify that Bars and Ticks actually cover the requested interval.

3. Retest only a short recent range that is visibly present.

4. Run the same empty/minimal test on a second symbol from the same broker.

5. Run XAUUSD with a second model only as a diagnostic, not as a replacement for the required data.

If the second symbol works but XAUUSD does not, the problem is most likely specific to that broker's XAUUSD history/symbol synchronization. If every symbol fails immediately after the build update, keep the complete Journal and report the terminal/tester build to Service Desk. Do not import history from a different broker to make the error disappear: XAUUSD contract size, tick size, tick value and sessions can differ, so the resulting test would not represent the target broker.

first of all this strategy tester was working without any bug after this update the stategy tester is not at all working it is keep on showing history check of xauusd failed, even though all the data was there it is failing to test my strategy.

In your MT5 Market Watch window:

Right-click on XAUUSD.
Click on Symbols.
Click on the Ticks tab.
Select All ticks starting from 1970.
Click on Request.
Wait for all ticks to download.
Click on the Bars tab.
Select M1 starting from 1970.
Click on Request.
Wait for all M1 bars to download.
Click on OK.
Restart MT5.

If you need as much history as possible, go to your MT5==>Tools==>Options==>Charts tab, set Max bars in chart to Unlimited, click on OK, and restart MT5.

no i just did everything even downloading the whole data. i tested my strategy with Xauusd it tested well but after two or three times of testing it is not responding

yes i did what you said bugt still now it is not working even i deleted the mt 5 and downloaded it again
