After looking better, I have found that the hovering works as designed.
It is not meant to show the full path of the include file, rather the one of the file that has included it.

Yes but it was improve nonetheless, it now shows a relative path (to MQL5 folder) and not the full one.

This is with version 5.00 build 5998, I have reason to believe it has been existed for a long time before.
After compiling, hovering mouse on log entries opens a pop-up which shows more details. That is especially useful for checking the exact location of include or source files, as sometime problems can arise with files having the same name, but different locations.
The problem is that after the 2nd entry in log , the text in pop-up does not reflect the current mouse location (if become offset by one or more entries, making more difficult to pinpoint issues.
Since I'm not allowed to post pictures, I have made a short video to bring this to the attention of MQ developers.
