MT4 Trade is disabled.

Hi there, l am trying to place trades on my mt4 account but there is an error message that say trade is disabled

Turn on AutoTrading up top in MT5 (button). Green is on. Red is off.

Confirm whether you allowed auto trading, the button above, and check symbol details to confirm if trading is allowed.

I am using the mt4 and l am not auto trading, the Auto trading is off.

Right, check the EA window first upon attaching the EA to the chart, and then enable AutoTrading in the terminal.

I can't even tell you how many times I've mistakenly skipped the EA window checkbox, and then later returned to find zero trades.🤦‍♂️

Yes auto trading is allowed, yes l am allowed to trade specific symbol, as l was trying to place symbols that are enabled for my account

Apologies maybe its misunderstanding from my side, l am trying to place trades manually.

Oh, I see. All "Trading is disabled" in your screenshot. Sorry.

In that case, you should contact your broker-dealer to investigate the issue.

I have done that already, l have reinstalled the app changed the password, still the issue is not fixed, thanks for your help.

I see that you're trading stock index CFD's. Are those market hours open?

I also see a Z as a month code which mimics futures contracts. Verify that the month is the front month and/or a presently tradable month.

Some symbols can’t be traded at specific hours, and perhaps your broker also disabled trading on the symbol, try when the market is open.
