Discussion of article "Creating MQL5 Expert Advisors in minutes using EA Tree: Part One" - page 2

sergeev:

Green, you are being told that this EA Tree is not Wizard. Don't be confused.

Wizard is yes, it's built in. And Tree is a standalone paid app.

This I know, we just misunderstood each other. In the first post I expressed my point of view about this programme and at the same time asked about our Wizard, it's strange that they advertise another generator, so I thought that ours would be abandoned.

sergeev:

Why would you even publish this? To promote the developers?

I think that methaquots with this article in several parts unobtrusively show that wizard is better, easier and free of charge.

On the contrary, we support those who help to develop the MQL5 community in this way.

Most likely, there will be articles about other similar programmes soon.

So you can publish the manual for your paid product (for MT5) as a descriptive article? There will be no restrictions on the types of products?

Let's do the same, let's kill domestic producers and advertise and write articles about foreign ones, we should throw all our efforts into our Wizard on the contrary.

Finally a graphical programming language!

EA Tree is still raw and must be brought to the level of LabView to start using it. At least we need the ability to include pieces of code in blocks as text. Graphics, mat packages, debugging and so on.

And I will not give 150 quid for what we have now. Maximum 1 quid as a voluntary donation.

Expert Advisor Builder for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, EATree
  • www.eatree.com
It is a windows application that runs locally on your computer. You can create complex MT4 and MT5 EAs and forex signals using a very easy to use graphical user interface. No coding, programming or MQL knowledge is required. There are two different products: EATree MT4 standard Edition V2.0 that supports the MQL4 language and EATree MT5...

That's how I personally see this article.

I think it is quite the right direction, complex products will most likely require an additional manual, which will be difficult to place together with the product, and so published an article, inserted a link and that's it.

The only question is whether MQ will take money from the author for such materials? After all, advertising.

And a question to the side: does MQ think about refining Wizard in the direction of graphic design?

If the programme allows you to create other MQL5 programmes in the source code, we will be glad to publish such an article.

For other programmes, the Market will be available soon - it will be perfect for this.

Urain:

And a question aside: is MQ thinking of refining Wizard towards graphical design ?
We have other directions for now: Market and expansion of standard libraries.

Renat:
We have other directions: Market and expansion of staff libraries.

It's a shame the contests were stopped.
