MT5 Build 5833 - Incorrect Overview Report Statistics

Hello MetaQuotes Team,

I found several reproducible inconsistencies in the "Overview" report of MetaTrader 5 (Build 5833, official MetaQuotes installation).

Issue 1
The History tab reports:

• Profit: 513.92
• Commission: -455.71
• Net Result: 58.21

However, the Overview report displays Total = -397.50.

The difference is almost exactly equal to the commission amount, suggesting that the commission may be deducted twice in the Overview calculation.

Issue 2
The Overview pie chart does not correspond to the displayed Gross Profit and Gross Loss values. Although Gross Profit and Gross Loss are nearly equal, the chart visually represents them as highly disproportionate.

Issue 3
With no open positions, the final point of the Balance/Equity graph does not match the current account state. Balance and Equity should be identical when there are no open trades.

Issue 4
The Growth graph and some Overview statistics appear inconsistent with the data shown in the History tab.

I have attached screenshots and a complete report for reference.

Did you tinker with the delays?

Check if you get same thing to happen on a new, clean install of mt5. in the past i have read threads where either moderators or other users recommended to delete the report files and mt5 then creates a new and clean report "from scratch", and was always fixed.

Did you tinker with the delays?

Could you clarify which delays you mean? I didn't modify any delay-related settings. The report was generated directly by the official MetaTrader 5 from a live account.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it.

After deleting the local report/cache files and letting MT5 regenerate them, the Balance/Equity graph is now correct.

However, the Overview still has two issues:

• The pie chart is still inconsistent with the Gross Profit and Gross Loss values.
• The Total value still appears to subtract the commission twice.

So recreating the report fixed the Balance/Equity graph, but the Overview calculation and pie chart issues remain.
