MetaQuotes VPS: "failed to get list of virtual hosts [405]" and JSON parsing error - Anyone else?

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a strange issue with the MQL5 VPS service.

Every time I open the VPS window, I get the following errors:

Error processing data. Module: 6. Please try again later. JSON parsing, code: 6 Invalid or unexpected token

And in the MT5 Journal I repeatedly see:

Virtual Hosting failed to get list of virtual hosts [405]

However, my VPS appears to be working normally:

  • The EA is still running.
  • New trades are opened and managed correctly.
  • Synchronization completed successfully.
  • SL/TP modifications are executed without any problems.

My terminal information:

Has anyone experienced the same issue recently?

Is this a temporary MetaQuotes server/API problem, or is there something I should do (clear cache, migrate again, reinstall MT5, etc.)?

I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

My terminal information:

Personally - I never had error 405 so I can not practically help in this situation.
But I found one thread about this error: [SOLVED] Installation Failed [405] - and it was the conclusion that this error 405 is appeared because of beta build of MT5 is using.

I mean: 5968 is the beta build.
You can download MT5 from your broker and install their Metatrader (because the brokers are proposing the stable builds in most of the cases); but in this case - you need to connect this MT5 to your trading account and check the MQL5 VPS on it (which should be already installed there - because MQL5 VPS is per trading account for example).

A library product published in the marketplace is encountering installation errors (405) despite other products updating successfully. Users report the issue is related to the Community tab in MetaTrader 5, potential duplicate installations, or system-specific configurations. The error is not reproducible globally, and users lack technical proofs, making resolution challenging without further details.

Are you sure that your EA is traded on VPS and not on your local MT5?
Because if EA is traded in VPS so you can close MT5 and EA will trade anyway irrespective off ...
Anyway, you can check.
