Hello,
I tried to contact one seller with a product-related question. But every time I try to send the message, I receive this error:
"Your account is temporarily banned"
I only wanted to ask a pre-sale question about a Market product. I did not intend to send spam.
The MQL5 Helper / "Report a problem" option does not allow me to create a useful support ticket, so I am asking here.
Can a moderator or administrator please advise what I should do or how long this temporary restriction usually lasts?
Thank you

EA_Trader1:
The issue is probably not the single Message, but rather the number of Messages that you sent during a short timespan. There's an "auto-Moderator" that detects frequent Messaging. The ban should go away on its own in a few days─which is about how long the wait is for a Service Desk Support Ticket to get resolved (if you had been able to create one).

Thank you for your quick reply. It is already working again
I had a similar issue when I first started on MQL5. The temporary ban on messaging usually happens automatically when the system detects a new account sending multiple messages in a short period — it's an anti-spam measure. It typically lifts within 24-48 hours without any action needed. If it persists beyond that, try the MQL5 support email directly at support@mql5.com as they respond faster than the forum ticket system. Hope it resolves quickly for you
