MetaTrader 5 closes unexpectedly after macOS Tahoe 26.5 update

Hello,

I would like to report a stability issue affecting MetaTrader 5 after updating my Mac to macOS Tahoe 26.5 (Build 25F71).

Environment:

• MetaTrader 5 version: 5.0.5260

• macOS Tahoe 26.5 (Build 25F71)

• Apple Silicon Mac

• Rosetta installed and working correctly

Issue description:

Before updating to macOS Tahoe 26.5, MetaTrader 5 worked normally on the same machine.

After the update, MetaTrader 5 frequently closes unexpectedly, especially during trading operations such as:

• Opening positions

• Closing positions

• Managing active trades

Additional information:

• MetaTrader 5 launches normally.

• Wine processes and terminal64.exe start correctly.

• No crash reports are generated in macOS DiagnosticReports.

• The issue occurs intermittently and is difficult to predict.

• I have seen reports from other macOS users experiencing similar behavior after updating to macOS Tahoe 26.5.

This issue represents a serious operational risk because the platform may close while positions are being managed.

Could MetaQuotes please confirm whether this is a known compatibility issue with macOS Tahoe 26.5 and whether a fix or updated build is planned?

MetaTrader 5 remains open when idle, but the issue occurs more frequently during order execution and order closing operations.

Additionally to the links provided by Sergey, you should not use an obsolete MT5 build. Current release is build 5833.
