I will no longer buy EA if the developer cannot demonstrate live performance (live signal).

Be careful of EA providers who do not show Live Pervormanc (mql signal).

If you can't prove that your EA works in live trading.......stay away.

Of course, it gives more confidence when the developer can show verified live performance results.

... and how much capital that the developer is willing to invest in her/his own algo.🧐

The presence of a live signal does not guarantee anything.

Monitor the top selling EA's for months and you will notice 2 patterns:

- 1. Some sellers make deposits so the equity curve to look good;

- 2. Other sellers replace the signals with new ones because the old signal account suffered a big loss.

Observation: Many from the best selling EA's show a high win rate and a smooth equity curve with big profits. Until here it's  all nice. One problem here is the over optimization which is known and ignored in the same time. The second problem is that the the balance it's constantly increasing(usually a blue line) and the equity curve(usually a green line) has big dips from time to time. In that occasions one or more trades were holding big unrealized losses. Guess what? In real trading your account will suffer a big loss or a margin call.

In conclusion is more important to know in detail the trading method automated and if the automated trading method has a positive expectancy(positive skew).
