The best way to showcase your EA is to create a Signal with a real-money track record and use your personal Blog on MQL5.com to explain the logic.

All good, don't be shy. This business is all about track-record - talk is cheap and data is expensive.

No live track-record - you have nothing to show, my friend (at least nothing interesting) - respectively nothing to advertise.

  • 6mo+ track-record - chances to get noticed.
  • 1,5-2+ yrs track-record - chances to get investor. 
Focus on:
 -- building the stats first
 -- "advertising" will eventually take care of itself.
