Strategy Tester Inquiry - Spikes in balance while equity remains flat.

I'm using a hedging account with Forex.com and don't understand what these spikes could mean in the strategy tester. The backtest data is also completely off showing profits and losses not displayed on the graph. Any help is greatly appreciated!

the spikes of balance shows the order that a group of trades was closed.

The balance spike happens when all profit trades are closed before the losing trades are closed. This happens when a large number of trades are closed in same second.

similar but opposite: the downward spike is opposite: it happens when a large number of trades is closed, again, but this time the losing trades are closed first.

the profits and losses are not meant to show on the graph. if you put your mouse over the lines, the mouse over box will show you the balance and equity numbers.

and IMO i wouldnt touch that strategy with a "10 foot pole"; EXTREME RISK.

I meant the profits and losses listed on the backtest. They were extremely off, but I'm starting to understand why. Much appreciated!
