MT5 frozen on macOS after update (cannot click anywhere)

Hello,

Since the latest MetaTrader 5 update, MT5 is completely frozen on my Mac.

System:

• MacBook Air M2 (2023)

• macOS Tahoe 26.2

• MetaTrader 5 version: 5.0.5260

Problem:

• MT5 opens but the interface is totally unresponsive

• I cannot click anywhere inside the terminal

• Cmd+Q does not work, only Force Quit

• Full uninstall + reinstall (including cache/Library files) did not fix it

MT5 was working perfectly before the update.

Has anyone experienced this on macOS Tahoe or found a workaround / rollback solution?

With all due respect to both MetaQuotes and Apple - MetaTrader on Mac is a hassle at the moment.

Get Windows (Parallels Desktop on Mac) and focus on your strategy not logistics/freezing. In case you are keen to use plain macOS - here is a thread where users manage successfully MT5/Mac
