Changing settings on VPS

Yes, you need a new migration in order to ovewrite the old settings with the new ones, but you don't need to stop the MQL5 VPS before doing this.

I have recently purchased VPS and i am using my chart and my EA there. My EA is under testing phase so i frequently change its settings. Currently i have no idea how to ammend an EA if it is uploaded on VPS. do we do it the normal way by going IDE.
At present, the procedure which i follow is that, i am stopping the VPS, readjusting the EA settings and then again migrating it. Is this the correct way?
Or, if i ammend it normally in the inputs panel will it automatically upgrade. Also please letme know that where in the VPS window can i see my EA. i see a Experts tab while migration is going on. But, after sometime that tab also dissapears.
