As i type this am unable to work today due to bug in latest update of MT5 that makes the platform too sluggish to use.Been using an EA for some years that regulalry pushes bugs into updates .
And my proposal to the meta quote team in interest of consumer rights or at least common sense is that, We need an inbuilt system not just to roll back from updates from same menu that triggers updates , but also the ability to store into the platform a handle full of versions of the platform OR AN EA I PURCHASED WITH MY MONEY, so that i can use them as fallback during buggy updates.
Every updatable system that does not include a roll back feature and ability to store working versions is absolutely abusing consumer rights.
The cost of bugs in updates is higher on the user than the producer, and thats why this keeps happening, and will continue.
There isn't enough finical threat litigation risk to the producer TO properly test software before sending it out as update INTO A SYSTEM THAT PROVIDES NO WAY FOR USER TO ROLL BACK.
We are literally being forced to put all our eggs into the risk represented by the current mood of their software team. Its a very volatile time in the market, and i currently cant manage my portfolio due to buggy update.
If you purchase an EA from someone that gradually starts to loose interest and and bugs over time, there is no inbuilt system into the platform from which you made the purchase to sore or roll back to a previous version, that is WRONG.
!!!Why bother diversifying your portfolio when all your entire risk is already in the next platform or EA update FROM WHICH YOU CANT ROLL BACK EASILY IF IT ALL POSSIBLE , THAT IS GOT TO BE ILLEGAL!!!
WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO STORE VERSIONS OF EA WE BUY INSIDE OUR ACCOUNT IN SAME PLATFROM WHERE PURCHASE WAS MADE.
