EA not opening trades on MT5 (Demo) – “signal disabled”

Message:
Hello,

I have an Expert Advisor running on MT5 (Demo – Hedge account). The EA attaches to the chart correctly, AutoTrading is enabled, and no trading errors appear in the Journal.

However, the EA never opens any trades. The Journal shows:
 • “signal disabled”
 • “2 charts, 2 EAs, signal disabled”

Important details:
 • Account type: Hedge, balance is available
 • VPS connected and stable
 • Symbols are synchronized correctly
 • EA stays idle, no orders sent, no errors printed

Questions:
 • What are the common internal EA reasons for “signal disabled” in MT5?
 • Which code checks usually block trade execution without errors?
 • Could this be related to Hedge mode or balance/risk logic?

I am seeking root-cause analysis, not general advice. I can provide Journal screenshots, EA inputs, and account details if needed.

Step-1: make sure you Login with trader "master" password (not "Investor" read-only password).

In case EA opens trades in Tester, but no trades in real-time - most likely its been disabled on broker-server side. 

Need to contact your broker CS.

When/if CS confirms that there are no limitations on server side and there still no trades - contact your EA developer.

The 'signal disabled' message has nothing to do with your EA and the ability to open trades in your account.

It is about the MQL5.com Signals subscription service.

So, if your EA doesn't open trades as it should, check your setup and contact the author/seller for help and support.

Also check the Experts tab, where all log entries of your attached EAs are recorded, for any messages or errors.

في حالة قيام المستشار الخبير بفتح صفقات في بيئة الاختبار، ولكن لا توجد صفقات في الوقت الفعلي - فمن المرجح أنه تم تعطيله من جانب خادم الوسيط.

يلزم الاتصال بخدمة عملاء وسيطك.

عندما/إذا أكدت خدمة العملاء أنه لا توجد قيود على جانب الخادم وما زالت عمليات التداول غير موجودة - اتصل بمطور برنامج EA الخاص بك.

The 'signal disabled' message has nothing to do with your EA and the ability to open trades in your account.

It is about the MQL5.com Signals subscription service.

So, if your EA doesn't open trades as it should, check your setup and contact the author/seller for help and support.

The mediator has no problem, but I still don't know where the problem lies.
