MY EA risk level won't update

I have had several issues with EAs around this:
When I change the risk level from 0.01 to 0.05 or something,
it does not change on the EA, and the EA keeps making orders at 0.01.
I've tried many different things to re-set the platform or EA.
I'm using Pepperstone, MQL5, AUX/USD on 1 or 5 minutes.
and the MQL5 VPS.
The default risk level in the EA is (1/2 risk) 0.1 (not 0.01)
I set it to 0.01 a week or more ago, and now want to up my risk.
It shows 0.05 on the EA properties, but still makes orders of 0.01...
I have tried these:
removing the EA from the chart and updating the VPS,
removing EA, closing the chart, waiting all weekend and then setting up the chart and EA again...
same result - only makes orders at 0.01...
I have noticed in the past that changes on my EA or chart, take days to show up on the VPS and then for the EA to action and make and perform thos changes...
Is there something I can do?
I'd like to change the risk level especially and for it to be actioned immediately would be ideal...
any help or ideas out theere?
