Recurring 403 Forbidden Error from Dedicated Trading VPS

Hello everyone,

I am seeking advice on a recurring issue. I frequently get a "403 Forbidden / Access Denied" error when trying to access mql5.com.

This happens from my dedicated Windows VPS, which I use for all my trading activities. The server has a static IP address provided by a major hosting company.

I understand this is likely an automated security measure flagging a datacenter IP address. I am not using any proxies, just a direct connection from the server. Waiting a day or two sometimes helps, but the block eventually returns.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone found a permanent solution for this, other than constantly using a VPN?

2. Is there an official procedure to request whitelisting for a legitimate static IP address, perhaps by contacting support privately?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Many traders are using MQL5 VPS , and this VPS is having a lot of advantadges, for example - the traders do not lose activations when they  migrate/synhronize their MT4/MT5 environment to MQL5

If the issue is a frequent issue that comes and goes, then, I suggest that your ip address is not blocked by mq, as it can only be unblocked by you making a request to support. If you didnt do that, then, your ip address would still be blocked.

Check that windows update service is running and that you keep windows updated. This is has been a common fix of late.

Your vps may also be in a geographical area where the public dns server connection fails or has big delay. If this is the case, then there is nothing you can do about it but to find a new vps provider. I have read 3 different threads of this similar case during this current year.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m also interested in this topic because I’ve seen similar issues with VPS connections. It’s good to know that contacting support directly for IP unblocking or even switching to another VPS provider might be the only long-term solution.
