My experience:
MT5 works well on MacBook M1/M2/M3 using Parallels with Windows 11 ARM.
There are no major compatibility issues and performance with multiple charts and indicators is smooth thanks to Windows ARM emulation of x64 apps.
For stable operation you should assign 2 to 4 CPUs and 4 to 8 GB of RAM in Parallels and enable full security permissions in macOS.
The native macOS installer (download) based on Wine is available but it is less reliable for intensive trading especially with EAs and DLLs.

Hello MQL5 Forum,
I recently purchased a MacBook Air M3 (2024) and I plan to run MetaTrader 5 using Parallels Desktop to run Windows on macOS. I have a few questions regarding compatibility and optimal setup:
I plan to use MT5 for active trading with multiple charts and indicators, so a stable setup is essential. Any guidance or experiences from other users running MT5 on Mac M1/M2/M3 would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
