This past Friday the 8th, after market close, I updated my MT5 terminals to version 5214. The terminal on my local PC was fine, but all of the terminals on my VPS lost their licenses and detached from their charts. I received error messages in the Expert tab about "invalid license" and had to re-download the EA's. The free EA's were fine, but now I have to redownload the purchased EA's and lose a License for each terminal I want to reactivate. I'm going to contact the developers / sellers about this, but i need to tell them what happened and hope they understand.
Basically my question is: Has anyone else had this issue this past weekend?? Is this an issue with the update that was pushed Friday / Saturday?
Why did you update to a “beta” build?
Build 5214 is a “beta” which might have bugs. The latest officially released build is 5200.

Activation will be lost because of the following:
- major Windows updates (OS updates),
- hardware updates
- and different authorization (as a regular user of Windows or as admin for example).
If the activation is lost so you need to delete the product from Metatrader and install it once again from same Metatrader (and additional activation will be used because of that.

In the Windows operating system, different system configurations are provided for different authorization methods:
1. Authorization as a regular user
2. Authorization by the administrator
3. Authorization via remote access (even if one of the two accounts listed above is selected)
Therefore, each of these cases requires separate product activation, even if the Windows version has not changed and there has been no hardware update. Check how you are authorizing

I did not "request" the update. The screen to update appeared on all of my terminals when i rebooted my VPS and then restarted them over the weekend.

I am totally with you. I spend quite some hours every month just to keep all my terminals updated and restoring (my) EAs on the charts. It feels "strange"...
After a calm day, i realized the only thing i didn't try was to log off and log back on to the account. maybe something somewhere got disassociated. i was too panicked to think of that...
