AUDCAD Buy Stop

On the 2025.08.04 17:32 i placed a buy stop on the AUD/CAD at limit rate: 0.89360 & stop loss at: 0.89250 on 6HR chart. But the buy stop never reached the limit rate at 0.89360.In the screenshot i've sent,it shows the candles in circled yellow, the estimated time price had reached at that specific time, which was at 2025.08.05 00:04:09 and closed at 00:04:43 at the stop loss at 0.89250.The white line represents the limit rate, the blue line-where price was, when the buy stop was triggered, which is false, that trade should not have triggered. Does anyone have any explanations for this mishap?

Spread. Enable "show ask line"

[Deleted]

It's called "spread"!

There is a Ask price and a Bid price. Charts only shows the bars/candles based on Bid (or Last) prices.

  • A "buy" position opens at the Ask price and closes at the Bid price.
  • A "sell" position opens at the Bid price and closes at the Ask price.
Enable the Ask price line on your chart so that you can track the current value visually.
