Hey , i got the same problem as your.
I use Bottles for execute the mtt4 terminal and got no problem but soon as i switch to mt5, i got the exact same thing as your. Poor resolution.
So if you use bottle, i suggest you run it with the VM option inside bottles and set the desire resolution. It works perfectly fine this way.
If you need help to set this up, let me know. '
Cheers.
Since a few weeks, the resolution of MT5 running on Linux is broken.
It seems the program is running in low resolution (see screenshot).
It also seems the Window-Resolution doesn't do anything (clicking on higher resolutions doesn't seem to change anything, menu titles, font size, charts, everything seems to continue to be in an ugly, low resolution.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
That doesn't look as low resolution. It is high resolution but big elements. Try to adjust your DPI settings using "winecfg" command(probably you should lower your DPI). Pay attention to run the winecfg with the proper WINEPREFIX in order to actually change the one you have the MT5 on.
