Which version of MT5 are you using? Is it the terminal provided by your broker or the one available on this website?
The EA disappears from under my trading account in the Navigator panel.
I still see the EA listed under the VPS section, but it’s not associated with my trading account anymore.
When I try to mitigate the issue (by syncing or reinitializing), the EA also disappears from the VPS section entirely — as if no EA is running at all.
As long as this issue is present, no trades are taken, even though the VPS is online and running.
Navigator panel has nothing to do with MQL5 VPS. Because MQL5 VPS is your other Metatrader but in cloud, and your home Metatrader has nothing to do with it.
How do you see that EA is listed or not listed? You can only check the MQL5 VPS journals about it (there are two MQL5 VPS journals).
So, everything is in MQL5 VPS journals incl "trading or not trading", "disappeared" and so on. Because you/we can not see this "Metatrader in cloud" (MQL5 VPS) which has nothing to do with your home Metatrader after synchronization/migration.

Thank you for your reply, because when you attach the EA to the chart it first appears under your trading account then you do the mitigation and it appears under the VPS too. so even if it disappears from under my trading account it will be still working? because the EA shows only on vps not under my acc is that normal?

Hello everyone,
I'm facing a recurring issue while running Expert Advisors (EAs) on MQL5 VPS, and I’m hoping someone can shed some light on what’s going wrong.
Everything starts off working perfectly — my EA is attached to the chart, synced to the VPS, and trades are being executed regularly. However, after a few days (usually once a week), I notice something strange:
The EA disappears from under my trading account in the Navigator panel.
I still see the EA listed under the VPS section, but it’s not associated with my trading account anymore.
When I try to mitigate the issue (by syncing or reinitializing), the EA also disappears from the VPS section entirely — as if no EA is running at all.
As long as this issue is present, no trades are taken, even though the VPS is online and running.
The only fix I’ve found is to reattach the EA to the chart and resynchronize it with the VPS, after which it works fine for another few days — until the same thing happens again.
My setup:
MQL5 VPS
MetaTrader 5 (fully updated)
EA properly attached and synchronized
No error messages shown in the Journal
Has anyone experienced something similar or know why the EA detaches itself from both the trading account and the VPS after a few days?
Any help would be appreciated!
