How do i report an EA author?

Hello team,

months ago i bought an expert from MQL5 as i tested it before and the results was amazing. but when i bought it the way how the EA works is way diffrent and it keeps losing trades. however the author has deleted the EA after a while and not even updating the expert. The EA made me much losses and i think that was a scam. the author still selling experts here and he is not accepting to refund my money back. how to deal with this ??

thanks and regards,

Sorry you had to go through that - unfortunately, it sounds like a classic "you get what you pay for".

NOT necessarily a scam if:

  • EA worked differently than expected but matched the description.
  • Seller didn’t promise guaranteed profit.

Back tests are useless and do not replicate live trading . Drop the eye candy and try and find genuine developers . Good Luck .
