When I attach an EA to EURUSD in MT5, how can I keep the EA running if I switch to another account or switch to another currency pair chart?

you can not. to run an ea, you have to have a terminal running all the time. You also have to install a 2nd mt4/5 if you want to "switch to another account".

I recommend that you buy a vps so that your ea can run 24/7/5.5.

 
If you are changing charts on the same account it won't affect it as long as the chart is still there . I run 3/4 Ea's at a time .If you are changing accounts you could have mt5 direct Download and mt5 custom from your broker or Download another from MT5 direct but change the name of the folder and it might work . I don't recommend VPS , you don't need it and who wants to run a EA 24/5 .A trending EA 24/5 ,A ranging EA 24/5 markets don't range or trend 24/5 that's why you lose .Man management of accounts is the key ,setting hours etc . As long as those trades that triggered had a TP/SL .FOMO is a killer , less is more .
