We can discuss pros and cons for hours, but natural phenomena of life - MetaQuotes is phasing out MT4.

MT4 works fine and will be around for a long time (can stick to it in 2025 fine), many traders still love it.. and so on. But, if you're thinking long-term, MT5 is the only option to choose (regardless of how much we might prefer MT4 simplicity or its massive library of tools).

Yes, that's right: MetaQuotes stopped supporting MT4, and this MT4 is supported by the brokers only (who do not want to lose the clients and so on).
