Hi all,

Just a question in regards to VPS. I trade with an EA trade manager that helps me calculate my position sizes and moves my stop loss to breakeven when conditions are met. I usually have to leave my pc on overnight for my EA to work while I sleep. Hence, I'm looking at a VPS subscription.

I trade on a PC, laptop and phone. Do I just need to buy a single VPS subscription on one device like my PC and any trades I make on my laptop or phone will still work as normal ? 

or do I need to buy a subscription for my laptop as well? Then does this mean any trades I make on my phone won't register? sorry if this is a noob question. 

I am hoping that I only need to buy one subscription on my PC and then I can just migrate and trade on all three devices as normal.

there are different setups of vps, so you will need to chat to the support of the vps that you are considering to confirm what you can and cannot do; however, for most vps's you will login to the vps via microsofts remote desktop program, to your single vps, which you can also login to the same vps via your laptop or pc. But not at the same time. you can login via your pc OR your laptop. When you login via either, the other device will drop out or get logged off automaticly.

As for the phone, you will use the phone app, which is not via the vps and cannot login to your vps, unless the phone is windows compatable. But you will be able to login to your trading account via your phone and do all of the usual trading stuff on your phone that you can do now. But if you open or close trades on the phone, it may interfere with your ea. But that is specific issue with your ea, depending on how the ea works and its strategy.

Note that most trading managers will not work with the phone app. Also note that the "built in", mql5 vps is different to a traditional vps. You will NOT be able to use your trademanager on it; and it is more complicated to setup.
