Have you not asked a similar question in the past?
If your EA has been safely migrated to the MQL5 VPS Service, then yes, you can close the terminal.
If however, you are running the EA locally and not via the VPS, then it will stop running as soon as you close the MetaTrader terminal.

Thank you Fernando for answering the question. But I don't mean the terminal, I mean the MQL session. I mean, I have to keep the MQL5 session open so that the robot I bought from the store can keep running (I am using the EA locally)?
If it is a Market product, then yes. As per the more recent requirements, you have to maintain your MQL5 Community account active for the product to be able to run.
I will try to find the MetaQuotes post that describes this requirement.
I have not found the MetaQuotes post, but in the meantime, here is one by another moderator ...

Make sure that you are logged into your MQL5 account in MT4/5 >> Tools >> Options >> Community at all times, otherwise your MQL5.com Market purchases will not work.
