I am trying to download MT4 to a new laptop, using mt4.exe but it downloads MT5 instead??

I purchased trade assistant for MT4 previously and have remaining Downloads left, also i am used to MT4.

is MT4 still available?

You can download MT4 from your broker's downloads area.

 
Thanks ill try that, i was trying with the metaquotes site.

It has been years since you could download MT4 from Metaquotes. You can only get it from a broker's website.
