Blank screen when try to view new trading reports

Miguel Antonio Rojas Martinez, 2023.12.20 13:23

Miguel, Thanks,

Before making a clean install, I tried to install  Microsoft Edge WebView2, and immediately worked
That is the explanation, the new reports module uses this technology and that technology is not included in the  Windows Server 2019.
So,  is mandatory to install it,

Thanks so much

You need to install Webview2 Runtime to the same prefix as the terminal. In the example the prefix is /.mt5.

WINEPREFIX=~/.mt5 wine MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup.exe /silent /install

You can use the script for Ubuntu/Debian from the article at the link.

MetaTrader 5 on Linux

MetaQuotes, 2013.01.18 07:18

In this article, we demonstrate an easy way to install MetaTrader 5 on popular Linux versions — Ubuntu and Debian. These systems are widely used on server hardware as well as on traders’ personal computers.

MetaTrader 5 automatically installs WebView2 in the background.

In a few minutes next start will be normal. Even on Windows 7.

Please upgrade to Wine 10.x to use WebView2 in Linux.

Does MT5 work perfectly on Linux? Does everything work? For example, I installed MT5 on Ubuntu using Wine, but now I have a problem: I can open the dialog to connect to the market, but the market menu is buggy. The buttons—when I click on "Demo" or "Buy"—all bug out. So I don’t understand: does MT5 work fully on Linux, or am I just wasting my time?

Yes it works but the display requiring WebView2 is a bit erratic.
