Finding a way to see the current level of a simple 'built in to MT5' Trailing Stop after it has been set. In the way that Stop Losses and Take Profits are displayed on charts. - New user
Hi I'm new to trading and MT5. I have searched this enormous and incredible portal for quite some time, and I cannot find where I can set a control to enable viewing the current position of my trailing stop, in the way that Stops and Take profits are displayed with a dashed line and some data. The only reference to this order (the Trailing Stop) that I have found is in the Journal. I'm sure it may be available, or there may be an EA that will do this. I don't need anything complex. However I just have not found this. If anyone can help, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Oxton

Hi Vinicius.
I am grateful for your response.
Although I understand programming concepts. I am not familiar with C++ or mql5. In fact I am quite new to trading, having just taken the decision to move from IG, to a more sane platform with opportunities to develop my skills. So I have just done some demo and live trades, but never written any code for the site. Indeed I'm still learning the basics of the desktop app.
I'll report my progress here, and welcome any other comments.
I am still digesting the information in the linked topic.
Many thanks David (Oxton)

Hi Vinicius.
Hi Vinicius. Thanks again for you help. I have got more pressing aspects of learning Mt5 so will be resting this enquiry maybe for some time, having attempted programming in mql5. So it may be some time before I make further progress, unless I get further posts on this one. Many thanks. Kind Regards Ox
