Copy trading doesn't compound?

Hello,

I've Googled extensively for this answer, but can't find it! I've just setup a signal, and obviously the initial lot sizes are based off the % set of the initial deposit, but is this always the case? Ie, the lots don't get bigger as profits are made?

It clearly says "use no more than x % of deposit", not of equity or margin, so I'm assuming profits don't compound? If so, is there a way around this, or do you literally have to withdraw funds and recontribute them as a 'deposit'.

Cheers,

Greg

Anyone?

That depends on how the signal provider handles the money management of its signals.

If he/she doesn't increase the lot size of the signal's trades as the balance increases then you will not do either as a signal subscriber.

If he/she does of course, you will copy it accordingly with a compounding effect.

Ah, perfect, thank you for explaning!
