I use MT4 build 4.00.193 and want to backtest
a strategy using an "expert adivsor".
For this I downloaded historical GBPUSD data
from the last 2 years into the histroy center.
The data is 1-Minute-Based.
By importing the data I can see in the histroy center
the 1Minute GBPUSD back to 2004 when scrolling down.
After having added this data I start the "expert advisor"
and select "Moving Average", GBPUSD, Period = 1 Minute
Date: FROM 01.01.2005 - 08.05.2006.
I click "Start".
Then the PC calculates, but in the RESULTS-TAB I only
see buy/sell transactions of February 2006 onwards and
not beginning from 2005 ?!?
(In some rare cases it works after having shutdown MT4,
start MT4 again, import ticks, run expert advisor in the
strategy tester). Behaviour is like a "loose contact",
sometimes it works, mostly not (with the same EA tested,
of course!!).
What could be the reason for the abovementioned problem?
