Pending orders

Is it possible to make a pending order on MT4, seem like the only thing that I can place is a market order? I'm switching platforms because of this.

Yes, you can have pending orders in MetaTrader 4, but if you are switching to MT5, then that is also good.

However, I doubt that will resolve your understanding of the current issue. You will need to provide more details, if you want a useful answer.

look for the button that reads "New Order" in MT4 and then a Panel will open where you can select to execute either a current or pending order trade..
