MT5 Source Code

Hi.. I realize MT5 is closed source but still, there's some things I'd like to tweak like the UI, Chart Display, tab scrolling, display panel.. Its beyond what can be possible from the "options" menu, and not possible with a custom script or library because it needs changes to the actual Metatrader UI itself - ie. this is NOT an addon/or library.

So MT5 being closed source.. I take it there's no way to do anything like this.

I know it is possible to tweak closed source programs by de compilation for example, IDA Pro/OllDbg/WinDbg... did anyone has success using these tools with Metatrader themselves? Thanks

I am not sure this topic stays here. But for the interested reader:

Decompilation is prohibited by law. This is chosen by the developer, and reflected in the EULA and respective license in use with the product.

Attempting to decompile, and on top alter the resulting source code is illegal.

You cannot expect a company, copyright holder, granting you to use a software, payed or free, if they decided to make their product available to you in binary, to tolerate active breaking the agreement, you have on your side signed up to.

This is like if a theft breaks into your house and then suing you to not accommodate him in a manner, you would accommodate a guest of yours.

You cannot argue, "But the door was open". It is what it is, you attempt to break the law, and you are asking here,  if someone has had success in doing so.

I highly suggest, you rethink your action patterns.
